II. Installation instructions for Windows NT 3.51
Note:
The default installation path and folder were changed from version 4.17. If you already installed the previous version, uninstall it first or change the installation path and folder to the same as before.

1. Start Windows NT 3.51 and log on with a user ID authorized as an administrator.
2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
3. Select File from the Program Manager window; then select Run from the pull-down menu.
4. Type [Program Path] \SETUP and press Enter.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen. The default choices are already highlighted in the Installation Options screen.

• The default installation path and folder were changed from version 4.17. If you already installed the previous version, uninstall it first or change the installation path and folder to the same as before.
• This Utility does not install the On Screen Display package. Click here to obtain this package.
  

1. Start Windows NT 4.0 and log on with a user ID authorized as an administrator.
2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run .
4. In the Open field, type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\UTILITY\SETUP.EXE to install the utility driver. Click the OK button to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

1. Start the ThinkPad Configuration program. The main screen will be displayed.
2. Select About ThinkPad Configuration icon on the tool bar. The About dialog will be displayed. The version will be displayed next to Utility.
