Note: From Version 3.50, different ThinkPad Utility Packages are provided for each operating system.
Personalization users need the following packages:
- Personalization Editor
- Personalization Data Update Diskette
Summary of changes
version 4.14
-(New) Support for ThinkPad 770Z.
-(New) Utility packages has been re-organized. In installation, there is no need to do from a diskette. This package contains only Personalization Editor.
version 4.15
-(New) Bitmap Editor program of a new operating system is supported.
Installation guide
This package is required during the ThinkPad Configuration GUI installation. During the installation of the ThinkPad Configuration GUI, you will be requested to install this. Refer to the instruction procedure of each GUI program.
Note:
This program is now bundled with each of the Configuration packages
Determining which version is installed
1. Start the Personalization Editor program.
2. Click the menu button on the left side of the main window.
3. Select 'About...' menu. The 'About' dialog will be displayed.
4. The version will be displayed on the dialog. |
