Hibernation utility diskette - ThinkPad 240/X/Z, 570/E, A20, T20, X20

Prior to using hibernation mode, you need to create a hibernation file on the hard drive. This diskette provides the hibernation utility program which creates the hibernation file.
This release supports the following systems:
- ThinkPad 240, 240X, 240Z
- ThinkPad 570, 570E
- ThinkPad i Series 1157(*1)
Note *1 : Supports Windows 98 Second Edition only.
The following Operating Systems are supported:
- Windows 95
- Windows 98
- Windows NT 4.0 with 16 bit FAT file system
Limitations:
- Hibernation function does not work when OS-2 Boot Manager is installed.
- Hibernation function does not work under Windows NT 4.0 with NTFS file system.
Note:
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

A non-diskette version of this file is also available. It does the same thing as this bootable diskette, except from the hard drive.

II. Installation instructions
- Download the file from the Web.
- Run the file and follow the prompts on the screen to create the Hibernation diskette. See the link above for additional instructions and limitations.
- Insert the Hibernation Utility Diskette into the diskette drive of the system that requires the hibernation file.
- Power on the system.
- Follow the instruction on the screen.
III. Determining which version is installed
On the screen, you can see only major version. By checking the volume label of the diskette, you can determine full version number as follows:
