This package provides the display driver for Microsoft Windows XP users.
The display driver enables or updates the display function of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad A20m
- ThinkPad A21m/A21e
- ThinkPad A22e (only Celeron Model)
- ThinkPad A22m (except Model 2628-Sxx)
- ThinkPad X20, X21
- ThinkPad TransNote

Note: This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.

Presentation Director allows you to create and edit display schemes that configure display device settings and system settings such as resolution screen savers and Power Management shut off timers.

I. Summary of changes

  • (Fix) The display output will be changed to 'Both LCD and CRT Display' when the system resumes normal operation from suspend mode.

  • (Fix) Blue screen error occurs when using several application programs.
  • (Fix) An error is logged in the Event viewer when opening the Option tab.
II. Installation instructions
Install
  1. Start Windows XP and log on to the system (as an administrator).
  2. Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive.
  3. Click Start, click Run.
  4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE, and click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, then specify that location instead.
  5. When the Welcome window appears, click the Next button.
  6. At the Software License Agreement screen, if you agree, click Yes.
  7. At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now.
  8. Click Finish, then reboot the system.
Unattended install
Note: This is for system administrators' use only to install drivers on many systems at the same time.
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive.
  3. Click Start, then click Run.
  4. In the Run dialog window, type:
    • C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE /K (without reboot)
    • C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE /K /B (with reboot)
      Note: If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
Level 1 heading
  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Appearance and Themes.
  3. Click Display.
  4. Click the Settings tab.
  5. Click Advanced.
  6. Click the Option tab. It is listed at Product Version in Version Information.
