I. Summary of changes
Version 1.55a
(New) Support for ThinkPad R30
II. Installation instructions
- Start Windows NT and log on with a user ID authorized as an administrator.
- Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click OK.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Restart the system for the driver to be effective.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Start Windows NT.
- Click Start, select Find, then click Files or Folders.
- Click the Name & Location tab.
- In the Named: field, type LTSM.SYS.
- In the Look in: field, specify Local Hard drives (C:,D:).
- Click the Find Now button. Windows will now search your hard disk drive for the specified file. If the file is not found, then the modem driver is not installed.
- In the Found part of the window, right-click the file ALisnd.SYS located in \WINNT\SYSTEM32\ and select Properties.
- Click the Version tab to view the driver version.
