This package provides the display driver for Microsoft Windows NT users.
This package enables or updates the display function of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad A31
- ThinkPad A31p
- ThinkPad R40
- ThinkPad T30
- ThinkPad T40, T41, T42
- ThinkPad X31, X32
Notes:
- This driver cannot be installed without Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 or later. Please install the Service Pack first, then install this driver.
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

- (New) Support for ThinkPad X31 2004 spring models, X32.

- Start Windows NT 4.0.
- Extract the drivers to the hard drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to install the video driver. Click the OK button to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead
- When the Welcome window appears, click Next.
- At the Software License Agreement screen, if you agree, click Yes.
- At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now.
- Click Finish, then reboot the system.
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
- Start Windows NT 4.0 and logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\DISPLAY\SETUP /K -SMS and click OK.
- Start Windows NT 4.0.
- Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Display.
- Click the Options tab. The Product Version is part of the version information.
