This package provides the display driver for Microsoft Windows XP users.
This package enables or updates the display function of the following ThinkPad computers: - ThinkPad A30 - ThinkPad A30p - ThinkPad X22 - ThinkPad X23 - ThinkPad X24
This version of the Video Driver will only work with: - ThinkPad A30, A30p system BIOS version 1.14 (or higher) - ThinkPad X22, X23, X24 system BIOS version 1.26 (or higher).
Please download the additional package, ThinkPad BIOS Update (Diskette) or BIOS Update (Non-Diskette) and update the BIOS in the system with it at the same time. There is a link provided below. |

Note: This version will only work with:
ThinkPad A30/A30p BIOS Version 1.14 (or higher)
ThinkPad X22, X23, X24 BIOS Version 1.26 (or higher).
- (Fix) Online Crash Analysis: ati3d1ag.dll may cause stop error message.
- (Fix) Online Crash Analysis: ati2dvag.dll may cause stop error message.
- (Fix) Driver installation subsequent to the video driver might fail while using ThinkPad Software Installer.

- Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to install the video driver. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- When the Welcome window appears, click Next.
- At the Software License Agreement screen, if you agree, click Yes.
- At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now.
- Click Finish, then reboot the system.
- Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- Run SETUP.EXE in extracted folder with /K /SMS option. For example, C:\DRIVERS\VIDEO\SETUP.EXE /K /SMS
- Click Start and then click Control Panel.
- Click Appearance and Themes.
- Click Display.
- Select Settings.
- Click Advanced.
- Select Options. It is described at Product Version in Version Information.
