Video driver (ATI Mobility Radeon) for Windows 2000 - ThinkPad A30/p, X22, X23, X24

This package provides the display driver for Microsoft Windows 2000 users.
This package enables or updates the display function of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad A30
- ThinkPad A30p
- ThinkPad X22
- ThinkPad X23
- ThinkPad X24
Note: This version of the Video Features will only work with the ThinkPad A30, A30p system BIOS version 1.14 (or higher) and the ThinkPad X22, X23, X24 system BIOS version 1.26 (or higher). If necessary, download and update the ThinkPad BIOS. There is a link provided below. |

Presentation Director allows you to create and edit display schemes that configure display device settings and system settings such as resolution screen savers and Power Management shut off timers.

Note: This version will only work with:
ThinkPad A30/A30p BIOS Version 1.14 (or higher)
ThinkPad X22, X23, X24 BIOS Version 1.26 (or higher).
- (Fix) Blue screen appears when a remote control session is established with the Computer Associates UniCenter TNG Remote Control Option 5.1 software.

- Start Windows 2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\W2K\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to install the video driver. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- When the Welcome window appears, click the Next button.
- At the Software License Agreement screen, if you agree, click Yes.
- At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now.
- Click Finish, then reboot the system.
- Start Windows 2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- Run SETUP.EXE in extracted folder with -K -SMS option. For example, C:\DRIVERS\VIDEO\SETUP.EXE -K -SMS
- Click Start, select Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Click the Advance button.
- Select the Option tab. The Product Version contains the version information.
