Video Driver (NM2200) for Windows 2000 - ThinkPad 380Z, 570/E, 600E/X

This package provides the video driver for Microsoft Windows 2000 users.
The video driver enables or updates the video function of the following ThinkPad computer:
- ThinkPad 380Z
- ThinkPad 570, 570E
- ThinkPad 600E, 600X
See the Additional Information section below for instructions on downloading and installing the driver.
NOTE:
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

NOTE: This driver will now automatically extract to your hard drive. It will only extract under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, and Windows 2000.

I. Summary of changes
version 5.39.00
-(New) Support for ThinkPad 380Z, 570/E, and 600E/X.
-(New) Support DirectX7.
-(New) Support TV out.
II. Installation instructions
- Boot Windows 2000 and logon with administrative privileges
- Extract the drivers onto the hard drive.
- Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel .
- Double-click on the Display icon.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Click on the Advanced... button.
- Select the Adapter tab.
- Click on the Properties button.
- Select the Driver tab.
- Click on the Update Driver... button. 'Update Device Driver Wizard' starts.
- Click on the Next button.
- Select the Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that I can choose a specific driver then click on the Next button.
- Click on the Have Disk... button
- In the Copy manufacturer's files from: dialog box, type C:\DRIVERS\W2K\DISPLAY and click the OK button. If you extracted the files to a deferent location, specify that location instead. The device list will appear.

After selecting the correct video driver, click on the Next button.
- If a warning message appears, ignore this message and click on the Yes button to continue installing.
- Click on the Next button.
- If digital signature issue message appears, ignore this message then click on the Yes button to continue installing. Windows 2000 copies all driver files to your system.
- After driver files are copied, click on the Finish button.
- Click on the Close button to complete installing.
- Windows 2000 prompts to restart. Click on the Yes button to restart Windows 2000.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Boot Windows 2000.
- Click on the Start -> Settings -> Control Panel .
- Double-click on the Display icon.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Click on the Advanced... button.
- Select the NeoMagic tab. The version information will be listed.
