This package provides the video driver for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 users.

*The video driver enables or updates the video function of the following ThinkPad computer:
- ThinkPad T20, T21, T22
- ThinkPad A22e (Pentium Models only)

I. Summary of changes
version 7.20.35
- (Fix) System BIOS is not updated when flash update is done without floppy diskette with version 7.20.34.

II. Installation instructions

  1. Start Windows NT 4.0 and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract the video drivers for Windows NT to the hard disk drive.
  3. Click Start, then click Run.
  4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to install the video driver. Click the OK button to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
  5. Following the instructions on the screen.
To uninstall the S3 driver (and utilities, if installed):
  1. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  3. Select SavageIX in the listbox.
  4. Click the Add/Remove button to remove the display driver.
NOTE:
The utilities should be removed as well if they were installed with the driver. If necessary, the uninstall procedure will reset the system to VGA.

III. Determining which version is installed
  1. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Display icon.
  3. Click the S3duovue tab.
  4. Click the Information button to check the version information, for example 4.1024.720.0035.
