Hibernation utility diskette II for standalone boot - ThinkPad General

Prior to using hibernation mode, a hibernation file needs to be created on the HDD. This diskette provides the hibernation utility program to create the hibernation file.
The following operating systems (OS) are supported:
- DOS
- Microsoft Windows 95
- Microsoft Windows 98
- Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 with FAT file system
- OS/2 with FAT file system
Note:
Supported OS depends on ThinkPad models.
*This release supports the following ThinkPad computers:
- A20m, A20p, A21e, A21m, A21p, A22m, A22p, A22e
- A30, A30p
- A31(*2), A31p(*2)
- T20(*4), T21(*4), T22(*4), T23(*4)(*2)
- T30(*2)(*4)
- T40(*2)(*4), T41(*2)(*4), T42(*2)(*4), T43(*2)(*4)
- X20(*1), X21(*1), X22(*1), X23(*1), X24(*1)
- X30(*1)(*2), X31(*1)(*2)
- TransNote(*1)(*2)(*3)
- R40(*2)
- R40e(*5)
Notes:
- *1: DOS, OS/2 are not supported.
- *2: Windows 95 is not supported.
- *3: Winddows NT 4.0 is not supported.
- *4: OS/2 is supported.
- *5: Only DOS is supported. |

Version 4.50
- (New) BIOS call is used to get Hibernation file size.
- Insert this diskette into the diskette drive of the ThinkPad system.
- Turn on the power of the ThinkPad system.
- Follow the instruction on the screen.
Limitations:
- Hibernation function does not work when OS/2 Boot Manager is installed.
- Hibernation function does not work with NTFS/HPFS file systems.
- Hibernation by hibernation partition is not supported. Please do not select item '1. Create partition' on this diskette.
On the screen, you can see only the major version. By checking the volume label of the diskette, you can determine full version number as follows.
