II. Installation instructions
NOTES:

• Extract the TouchBoard package file onto the hard disk drive.

For Windows 98/Me/2000
To Uninstall an older version of TouchBoard:

1. Start Windows 98/Me/2000.
   
2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
   
3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
   
4. Select IBM TouchBoard by a single left-click, then click the Add/Remove button.
   
5. Click OK to Do you want to completely remove.
   
6. Click Finish to complete uninstall, make sure Yes is selected if a reboot is necessary.

To Install the new version of TouchBoard:

1. Start Windows 98/Me/2000
   
2. Click Start, then click Run, and select the browse button.
   
3. Search for the subdirectory you extracted the new TouchBoard package.
   
4. Select Setup, and then click the Open button.
   
5. Click OK to start the install.
6. Answer the screens as follows: Next, Yes (for License), Next (for Destination), Next (for Folder), and Finish

Or to install with factory default settings:

1. Start Windows 98/Me/2000
   
2. Click Start, point to Programs, then click MS-DOS Prompt.
   
3. Change directory to the subdirectory where TouchBoard package was extracted.
   
4. Type setup -s and press the enter key.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Start TouchBoard by using Fliptouch or by clicking Start, pointing to Programs, pointing to TouchBoard, then clicking IBM TouchBoard.
   
2. Right-click the Keyboard icon in the Windows System Tray (bottom right) and select About. The version is to the right of the word Version displayed.
