II. Installation instructions
Install

1. Start Windows 98/Me/2000/XP.
   
2. Extract the driver onto the hard disk drive.
   
3. Click Start, then click Run.
   
4. In the Open field, type C:\DRIVERS\Win\PIVOT\SETUP.EXE to install the pivot driver. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
   
5. Click the OK button to start the installation process. The Pivot Software Setup dialog box appears.
   
6. Click Install. Files will now be copied.
   
7. Click Exit.
   
8. Click Yes to restart the system.

Uninstall
Windows 98 / Windows Me

1. Start Windows 98/Me.
   
2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
   
3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
   
4. Select Pivot Software.
   
5. Click the Add/Remove button.
   
6. Click Yes to uninstall Pivot Software.
   

Windows 2000 / Windows XP

1. Start Windows 2000/XP.
   
2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
   
3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
   
4. Select Pivot Software.
   
5. Click the Change/Remove button.
   
6. Click Yes to uninstall Pivot Software.
   
7. Click OK to finish the uninstallation program.
   
8. Click Close.
   
9. To restart the system, click Start, then click Shut Down.
   
10. Select Restart from the list and click the OK button to restart the system.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
   
2. Double-click the Display icon.
   
3. Select the Settings tab.
   
4. Click the Advanced button.
   
5. Select the Pivot Software tab. The About tab contains the version information.
