Note: Software Installer provides install and uninstall wizards for this package.
- Start Microsoft Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT 4.0, XP.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- Click Browse...
- Select the folder where the TrackPoint Accessibility Features package is stored.
- Select Setup.exe.
- Click Open.
- Click OK.
- Select the appropriate language at the Choose Setup Language prompt, and press OK.
- Click Next.
- Restart the system.
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
- Start Windows 98, Me, NT 4.0, 2000, XP.
Note: Windows 2000, NT 4.0, XP users need to logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\TP4ACCS\SETUP -S -SMS and click OK.
- Start Windows 98, NT.
- Click Start, select Find and then click Files or Folders...
- Click the Name & Location tab.
- In the Named: field, type tp4ex.cpl.
- In the Look in: field, select Local Hard drives (C:,D:).
- Click Find Now. Windows will search the hard disk drive for tp4ex.cpl. If the file is not found, then the TrackPoint Accessibility Features package is not installed on your system.
- Scroll the window to the right and look in the Modified column. The time stamp on TP4EX.CPL file will be the version number. 01:11a to indicate version 1.11 is installed.
- Start Windows Me, 2000.
- Click Start, select Search and then click For Files or Folders...
- In the Search for files or folders named: field, type tp4ex.cpl.
- In the Look in: field, select Local Disk (C:).
- Click Search Now. Windows will search your hard drive for tp4ex.cpl. If the file is not found, then the TrackPoint Accessibility Features package is not installed on your system.
- Scroll the window to the right and look in the Modified column. The time stamp on TP4EX.CPL file will be the version number. 01:11a to indicate version 1.11 is installed.
- Start Windows XP.
- For Windows XP with Classic Start Menu, click Start, select Search and then click For Files or Folders. Otherwise, click Start, select Search.
- In the Search Companion panel, click All files and folders.
- In the All or part of the file name: field, type tp4ex.cpl.
- In the Look in: field, select Local Hard drives (C:,D:).
- Click Search. Windows will search your hard drive for tp4ex.cpl. If the file is not found, then the TrackPoint Accessibility Features package is not installed on your system.
- Scroll the window to the right and look in the Modified column. The time stamp on TP4EX.CPL file will be the version number. 01:11a to indicate version 1.11 is installed.
