Note: Before you begin;

Keyboard installation movie

To remove the keyboard:

1. Remove the four screws from the bottom of the machine. The screws are identified with this icon.
2. Turn the ThinkPad over and open the cover.
3. Press this part of the keyboard toward the back of the ThinkPad. The front of the keyboard pops up.
4. Lift up the keyboard.
5. Disconnect the cable.
6. Remove the keyboard.
