NOTE: ThinkPad Software Installer provides install and uninstall wizards for the Wireless LAN Driver for the following operating systems:

Device driver installation instructions
Windows 98SE INF Installation

1. Open Device Manager
2. Double-click Dual-Band Wi-Fi Wireless Mini-PCI Adapter, or PCI Ethernet Controller if this is the first installation to the system.
3. Click Update Driver in the Driver tab.
4. Click Next twice.
5. Specify the location of the driver.
6. Click Next twice and follow instructions on the screen.
7. Click Finish and Click Yes to restart the system when prompted.

Configuration utility installation instructions

1. Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is prerequisite. If your computer does not have WMI installed, go to Microsoft's web site and down load the latest WMI and install it first.
2. Run Setup.exe and follow the instructions.

1. Double-click the wireless status icon in system tray. The Configuration Utility appears.
2. Click the About tab.
