Intel Ethernet driver only (no applications) - NetVista / ThinkCentre

This package installs an updated version of the device driver for the Intel 10/100 or Gigabit Ethernet that comes preinstalled in your computer. This update requires approximately 15MB of space on your hard drive.
This update package is intended for systems that come preinstalled with Intel 10/100 or Gigabit Ethernet. This package can be extracted only under a Windows 32-bit operating system such as Microsoft Windows 95, 98, Me, NT 4.0, or 2000.

Installation instructions for Intel Ethernet drivers (without applications)

This package contains only the base PRO/100 and PRO/1000 Ethernet drivers. For applications and utilities such as Intel PROSet, Makedisk, Diags, etc., you will need to download the complete driver and application package.
- Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
- When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
- Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders.
- Type q38z01us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
- Double-click the q38z01us.exe icon.
- Click Next. Read the license agreement.
- Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
- Click Next.
- Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\Q38Z01US.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish to extract the necessary files to your hard drive.
Once the drivers have been extracted, detailed installation notes are available by opening the index.htm file in the C:\IBMTOOLS\Drivers\Q38Z01US\PRO100\DOCS\DESKTOP or C:\IBMTOOLS\Drivers\Q38Z01US\PRO1000\DOCS\DESKTOP directories.
