Notes:

• This driver can be installed with the ThinkPad Software Installer, or by following the instructions below.
• DirectX 9.0C is required for before installing this audio driver. Visit the following site for more information regarding DirectX and download instructions: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx
  
  

1. Start Windows and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator for Windows 2000/XP.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click OK.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Click Finish and reboot the system when prompted in order to complete the installation.
   
   

1. Start Windows and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator for Windows 2000/XP.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.

4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click OK.

5. Select Remove or OK, then click Next or OK.

10. Click the Driver tab.
11. Click Driver Details.
