This package installs an updated Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP device driver for the onboard ADI SoundMAX audio that comes preinstalled in your computer.
This update requires approximately 48MB of space on your hard drive.
This package has been approved for use with the following systems:
- ThinkCentre A52 (type 8287, 8288, 8289, 8296, 8297, 8298, 8326, 8327, 8328, 8329, 8340, 8341, 8342, 8343, 8344, 8380, 8381, 8382)

Installation instructions for ADI SoundMAX audio driver with Cadenza software
|

This package includes the Cadenza audio software. A smaller package is available that includes only the driver.
- Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
- When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
- Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders.
- Type q3aud02us13.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
- Double-click the q3aud02us13.exe icon.
- Read the license agreement.
- Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
- Click Next.
- Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\q3aud02us13.
- Click Next. The necessary files will be extracted to your hard drive.
- Click Finish.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Type C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\q3aud02us13\setup.exe, then click OK.
- Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation. Shutdown and restart your system when the installation is complete.
