1. Start Windows XP and log on with administrative privileges.
2. Extract the Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver files to the hard disk drive. When downloaded file is extracted in the local drive, it is located in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANBCM directory by the default.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. In the Open field, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

In the step 4. of the Clean Installation procedure type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE -S in the Open box and click OK.

1. Click Start and click Control Panel.
2. Select Add\Remove Programs.
3. Uninstall Broadcom Wireless Lan.
