This package provides the fixes for the Windows XP SP2 (QFE) to the following computers for Microsoft Windows XP SP2 users only.

Note: Each QFE can be installed with Software Installer.
- Logon with a User ID with Administrator privilege.
- Execute OSFX31US.exe to extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Go to the Start menu and then select Run.
- Type [Program Path]\SETUP, and click OK. Program Path is the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2.
- Click OK.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Setup Program of QFE is the installation program for each QFE which is extracted to each folder when running OSFX31US.exe. The file name is xxxxxxUS.exe, where "xxxxxxx" will be the QFE number.
- Logon with a User ID with Administrator privilege.
- Execute OSFX31US.exe to extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Go to the folder for the QFE which you want to install. Refer to "Table of Installed QFE" to know what folder you should go to.
- Execute xxxxxxUS.exe in each QFE folder.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: Q883517, Q83523, Q884575 and Q884868 have a dependency on Q885894. Q885894 should be installed and the system should be rebooted applying Q883517, Q83523, Q884575 and Q884868.
- Logon with a User ID of Administrator.
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
- Click Remove of the QFE which you want to remove.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: Q888111 and Q885894 cannot be uninstalled once they are installed into the system.
