• (New) Initial release for the following systems running Microsoft Windows XP SP2:
  • ThinkPad R51e
  • ThinkPad X41 Tablet
  • ThinkPad X60, X60s, X60 Tablet
  • ThinkPad T60, T60p
  • ThinkPad Z60m, Z60t
  • ThinkPad Z61e, Z61m, Z61p, Z61t
  • 3000 C100
  • 3000 N100

Included QFEs and their description are listed as below:

1. Logon with a User ID with Administrator privilege.
2. Execute OSFX31US.exe to extract this package onto the hard drive.
3. Go to the Start menu and then select Run.
4. Type [Program Path]\SETUP, and click OK. Program Path is the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2.
5. Click OK.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
   
   

1. Logon with a User ID with Administrator privilege.
2. Execute OSFX31US.exe to extract this package onto the hard drive.
3. Go to the folder for the QFE which you want to install. Refer to "Table of Installed QFE" to know what folder you should go to.
4. Execute xxxxxxUS.exe in each QFE folder.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
   

Note: Q883517, Q83523, Q884575 and Q884868 have a dependency on Q885894. Q885894 should be installed and the system should be rebooted applying Q883517, Q83523, Q884575 and Q884868.

1. Logon with a User ID of Administrator.
2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
4. Click Remove of the QFE which you want to remove.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Note: Q888111 and Q885894 cannot be uninstalled once they are installed into the system.
