Installation instructions
Installing the driver

Notes:

  • When using Windows XP Service Pack 1 or Windows XP without any Service Pack, it is necessary to install the Microsoft Supplement file, "Windows XP/2000 SD Std Host Controller bus/storage drivers (KB Article ID: Q830908)" before installing this package. The Supplement files for the operating system supported are in the C:\IBMTOOLS\OSFIXES or the C:\SWTOOLS\OSFIXES directory on your hard drive before you install the operating system. Make a note of the Knowledge Base Article ID and click here to access the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
  • When moving or copying data into or from a Flash Media, such as a SD card, do not enter your computer into standby or hibernation mode before completion of the data transfer. This will help prevent damage to the data.
  1. Logon to Windows with administrative privileges.
  2. Download and extract this package on to the hard drive.
  3. Click Start.
  4. Click Run.
