Intel Chipset INF Support for Windows XP - 3000 V100

This package provides the Chipset INF for Windows XP. The Chipset INF updates the Chipset functions of Intel Chipsets. The following Chipset is integrated into your 3000 system:

Intel 945GM Express Chipset and Intel 945PM Express Chipset.

The following systems are supported:

- 3000 V100

Notes:
- If you use the Product Recovery function to restore the Windows preload environment, you do not need this package. This package is required when you install Windows Operating Systems without the Product Recovery function.
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.

  • (New) Detect and Configure INTEL 945GM Express Chipset and INTEL 945PM Express Chipset.

Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\SWTOOLS\OSFIXES\INTELINF
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\SWTOOLS\OSFIXES\INTELINF\SETUP.EXE
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Unattended install
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.

Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name and the following command line flag:
SETUP.EXE -a -s

Example: C:\SWTOOLS\OSFIXES\INTELINF\SETUP.EXE -a -s

Determining which version is installed
  1. Right-click My Computer, then click Properties.
  2. Click the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager.
  3. Expand the System Devices category.
  4. Double-click Intel Chipset.
  5. Click the Driver tab to display the driver version.
