Notes:

• If your system is running a Microsoft Windows Vista preload, you do not need to apply this firmware update. If your system is running a Microsoft Windows XP preload, please apply this firmware.
• Before updating the firmware, please do the following if needed:
  • Attach the AC adapter to the system.
  • Turn the Bluetooth power on.
    

To update the firmware, do the following:

1. Run the firmware update tool with Administrator privilege. If the User Account Control pop-up opens, click Continue.
2. In Welcome to the DFU Wizard for Bluetooth Device window, click Next.
3. In the License Agreement window, read the End User License Agreement carefully, then if you agree, select I accept the terms in the license Agreement, and click Next.
4. In the Ready to Start the DFU window, click Start.
5. In the Bluetooth DFU Wizard Completed window, click Finish button to finish updating.

1. Open My Bluetooth Places.
2. Select Bluetooth, then Advanced Configuration.
3. Select the Diagnostics tab.
4. Check the Firmware Revision information.
