Cingular Wireless WAN adapter software for Windows 2000 and XP - ThinkPad R60, R60e, T60, T60p, X60, X60s, X60 Tablet, Z61e, Z61m, Z61t

This package installs the software (Wireless WAN driver) to enable the following adapter:
- Sierra Wireless HSDPA MiniCard
The following systems are supported:
- ThinkPad R60, R60e
- ThinkPad T60, T60p
- ThinkPad X60, X60s, X60 Tablet
- ThinkPad Z61e, Z61m, Z61t
The following software must be updated when you install this package.
- ThinkVantage Access Connections ver. 4.12 or higher
- Hotkey Features for Windows 98/98 SE/Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP ver. 1.25.0605 or higher
To install the Wireless WAN driver, refer to the "Installation instructions" section. |

- (Fix) Windows 2000 Global switch related issue.
- (Fix) Update install issue.

Notes:
Note: If you are running Windows 2000, you need to uninstall the previous driver if it is already installed (Not required for XP).
- Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Start Explorer and open the folder where the this package was extracted. If you extracted this package to a different location, specify that location instead.
- Double-click \Driver\MC87xx.msi file.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Restart the computer.
- Start Windows XP.
- Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
- Click Sierra Wireless HSDPA MiniCard and click Click here for support information.
- Verify the driver version.
