Installation Instructions
Notes:
Manual Install

This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.

[Downloading file]

  1. Click once on the underlined file name. Once this is done, some pop-up windows will appear.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  3. In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button.
  4. Choose the directory you would like to download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.

[Extracting files]

  1. Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
  2. Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
  3. Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  5. In the "Select Destination Location" window, click Next. If you would like to select a different folder, click Browse.
  6. In the "Ready to Install" window, click Install. The file will begin to extract all the necessary files to the folder specified in the step 9.

[Installing files]

  1. Make sure the checkbox next to "Install ..... now" is selected and click Finish.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the computer.

Finally delete the file saved in the step 4.


Unattended Install

Note: This is for system administrators' use only.

  1. Refer to the "Manual Install" section, and download and expand the files.
  2. In the step 11 of the "Installing files" section, uncheck the checkbox next to "Install ..... now", and then click Finish to cancel installation.
  3. At the command line, execute setup.exe with the /s options.
    Example: [Path where the files were extracted]\setup /s

 

Uninstallation Instructions

[Windows Vista]

  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Uninstall a program. You will see Uninstall or change a program window.
  4. Click Help Center, then click Uninstall/Change.
  5. Click Continue on User Account Control.
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen and then reboot the computer.

[Windows XP]

  1. Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Click Help Center, then click Change/Remove (or Add/Remove).
  5. Select Remove or OK, then click Next or OK.
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen and then reboot the computer.

[Windows 2000]

  1. Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, select Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Click Help Center, then click Change/Remove (or Add/Remove).
  5. Select Remove or OK, then click Next or OK.
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen and then reboot the computer.

 

Determining which Version is Installed

[Windows Vista]

  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Uninstall a program. You will see Uninstall or change a program window.
  3. Select Help Center
  4. Click Organize, click Layout, then select Details Pane (Details Pane might be already selected)
    You will see the version information on the pane below.
  5. Close the Uninstall or change a program window.
[Windows XP]
  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click Help Center, then click Change/Remove (or Add/Remove).
  4. Click Click here for support information link.
    You will see the version information on the screen.
  5. Close Add/Remove Programs.

[Windows 2000]

  1. Click Start, select Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click Help Center, then click Change/Remove (or Add/Remove).
  4. Click Click here for support information link.
    You will see the version information on the screen.
  5. Close Add/Remove Programs
