Note:
- This is the same software shipped with the system and does not provide enhancements or updates to the existing software.
- If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below. |

Note:
- If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\MBLCTR.
- Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click Run....
- Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\MBLCTR\SETUP.EXE
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\MBLCTR.
- Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click Run....
- Specify SETUP.EXE -s -v"/q" with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\MBLCTR\SETUP.EXE -s -v"/q"
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.
- Open Control Panel.
- Select Control Panel Home in left pane.
- Select Programs.
- Select Programs and Features.
- Select Organize.
- Select Layout.
- Select Details Pane.
- Select ThinkPad Mobility Center Customization to display the
version information.
