- (Initial Release) Support for the ThinkPad T61, T61p, X61, X61s, X61 Tablet, and ThinkPad Reserve Edition.
- (New) Support for ThinkPad X300 (added).
Notes: To use the device supported by this package, the following software should be installed as well as this package.

Note: If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.
Manual Install
This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.
[Downloading file]
- Click once on the underlined file name. Once this is done, some pop-up windows will appear.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button.
- Choose the folder you would like to download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.
[Extracting file]
- Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
- Locate the folder where the file was downloaded.
- Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
[Installing files]
- Locate the folder where the files were extracted in Extracting File Step 4. Then go to the Driver folder.
- Double-click MC5720AC.msi file.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the computer.
Finally delete the file saved in Downloading File Step 4.
[Windows 7]
- Start Windows 7.
- Click Start.
- Right-click Computer, and then click Properties.
- At the left pane, click Device Manager.
- Double-click the Modems category.
- Double-click Sierra Wireless Modem device.
- Click the Driver tab.
- Check Driver Version.
[Windows Vista]
- Start Windows Vista.
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Click System and Maintenance.
- Click System.
- From the left pane, click Device Manager.
- Click Modems.
- Double-click Sierra Wireless Modem Device.
- Click the Driver tab. The driver version will be displayed.
[Windows XP]
- Start Windows XP.
- Click Start, then right-click My Computer.
- Click Properties.
- Click the Hardware tab.
- Click Device Manager.
- Expand the Modems category.
- Double-click Sierra Wireless Modem Device.
- Click the Driver tab. The driver version will be displayed.
