Installation instructions
Notes:
  • During the installation, please do not touch the keyboard, the trackpoint, or the mouse.
  • From this version, some of the virtual devices are installed when you use the Broadcom 802.11bg software for the first time after you install it. Wait for the virtual devices to complete installation.
  1. Turn the hardware Wireless switch ON.
  2. If the Found New Hardware wizard starts, click Cancel.
  3. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WINXP\WLANATH2
  4. Click Start, then click Run.
  5. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 3, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\WINXP\WLANATH2\SETUP.EXE
  6. Follow the instructions through the install.
  7. If requested, click Yes to restart the computer.

Unattended Install
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows XP, logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
  3. Click Start, then click Run.
  4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WINXP\WLANATH2\setup.exe /s and click Okay.

Uninstallation
  1. Click Start, select Settings then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Select Broadcom Driver v4.102.15.61_Foxconn Installation Program and click Uninstall.
  4. Click Yes to start the Uninstall.
  5. Click Yes to restart the system.
