- (New) Initial release for Lenovo 3000 V100
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package by double-clicking the downloaded file. The default extract location is C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\AUDIO
- Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
- Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
Example: C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE
- The device driver wizard will be launched. If the message, "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" appears, click Allow to continue installing.
- When prompted, click Next.
- When prompted to restart your computer, click Yes and then Finish.
This procedure is intended for system administrators use only.
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
- Specify "SETUP.EXE -s" with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and press Enter.
- The device driver will be installed automatically.
If the message, "Digital Signature Not Found" appears, click OK to continue installing.
- Reboot the system to complete the installation.
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Click Start, click Control Panel, then click Programs.
- Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program.
- Right-click Realtek High Definition Audio Driver and select Uninstall.
- When prompted, click Yes.
- When prompted to restart your computer, click Yes and then Finish.
- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Click Hardware and Sound.
- Click Device Manager.
- Expand the Sound, video and game controllers category.
- Double-click Realtek High Definition Audio.
- Click the Driver tab, and the driver version will be displayed.
