Version 1.01

• (Fix) Access Connections doesn't show correct status if WWAN & GPS connected.
• (Fix) No hint shown at the error of "Failed to open GPS port".
• (Fix) Access Connections Main GUI isn't refreshed when GPS turns on/off radio.

Notes:If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.

Manual Install

1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\GPS.
3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run.
4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\GPS\SETUP.EXE
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Click Finish to reboot the system and complete the installation.
7. Finally delete the file saved in the step 2.

Unattended Install

Note: Unattended Install for system administrators' use only:

• At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the -s option. Example: C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\GPS\SETUP.EXE -s

1. Start Windows and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator for Windows Vista.
2. Click Start, and select Control Panel.
3. Click Programs.
4. Click Uninstall a program under Programs and Features.
5. Right-click ThinkVantage GPS, then select Uninstall.
6. Click Continue if Windows needs your permission to continue

1. Start Windows.
2. Start the ThinkVantage GPS. The main screen will be displayed.
3. In the menu bar, click About.
4. The version of ThinkVantage GPS will be displayed
   

Language installation

If you need to install another language, the following steps will install this package.

1. Start Windows XP, logon with administrative privileges.
2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type the following command line.
   • Setup.exe -uilangid
     • 0x0409 (US English)
     • 0x0404 (Traditional Chinese)
     • 0x0804 (Simplified Chinese)
     • 0x0407 (German)
     • 0x0c0a (Spanish)
     • 0x040c (French)
     • 0x0410 (Italian)
     • 0x0411 (Japanese)
     • 0x0412 (Korean)
