1. Logon to Windows Vista with administrative privileges.
2. Extract this package by double-clicking the downloaded file.
   The default extract location is C:\DRIVERS\VISTA64\AUDIOC
3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
4. Specify "SETUP64.EXE" with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
   Example: C:\DRIVERS\VISTA64\AUDIOC\SETUP64.EXE
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Click Finish to complete the installation and restart the system if necessary.

1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
3. Click System and Maintenance, then click System.
4. Click Device Manager.
5. Expand the Sound, video and game controllers category.
6. Double-click Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221.
7. Click the Driver tab and the driver version will be displayed.
