Card reader driver (Ricoh 4-in-1) for Windows Vista, XP - ThinkPad SL300, SL400 and SL500

This package provides the Ricoh 4-in-1 Card Reader driver for Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit and Microsoft Windows XP. This package installs the software (Ricoh 4-in-1 Media Card Reader driver) to enable the following devices.

The Ricoh 4-in-1 Card Reader driver enables or updates the card reader functions of the following ThinkPad computers integrated with the Ricoh 4-in-1 Card Reader:

Version 3.55.01
- (New) (Initial release) Support for ThinkPad SL300, SL400, SL500
- Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\4IN1.
- Run the InstallShield* installation program in 4In1 folder. Windows Vista/XP: SETUP.EXE
- You will be prompted to agree to the license agreement. If you do not agree, the Installer will exit before extracting any files.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and use the default settings to complete the setup, once the operating system has rebooted.
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
Windows Vista 32bit, 64 bit:
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\4IN1.
- Click Start, then click All Programs.
- Click Accessories, then click Run...
- Specify SETUP.EXE -s with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\4IN1\SETUP.EXE -s
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.
Windows XP:
- Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\4IN1.
- Click Start, then click Run...
- Specify SETUP.EXE -s with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\4IN1\SETUP.EXE -s
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.
Windows Vista
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Click Uninstall a program.
- Righ click on 'Name' tab, then click More.
- Tick 'Version', then click OK.
- Check the Version value of 'RICOH R5C83x/84x Flash Media Controller Driver Ver.3.55.01'.
Windows XP
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Click Add or Remove Programs.
- Click 'RICOH R5C83x/84x Flash Media Controller Driver Ver.3.55.01', and then click 'Click here for support information'.
- Check the value of Version.
