Disabling tool for Intel Turbo Memory for Windows XP- ThinkPad SL300, SL400 and SL500

Windows XP operating systems do not support Intel Turbo Memory. So if you are using Windows XP, there will be a Yellow Exclamation (!) shown in Device Manager. This package is to eliminate the Yellow Exclamation (!) in Device Manager.
The following Systems are supported:

Note: If you use the Product Recovery function shipped with your ThinkPad to restore the Windows preload environment, you do not need this package. This package is required when you install Windows XP without the Product Recovery function.
- Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
- Click Start, then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, then click System
- Click the Hardware tab.
- Click Device Manager.
- Right-click PCI Memory Controller, then click Properties.
- Click the Driver tab.
- Click Update Driver.
- Select No, not this time, then click Next.
- Select Install from a list or specific location.
- Click Next.
- Select Search for the best driver in these locations and Include this location in the search.
- Click Browse.
- Locate the driver folder, then click OK.
- Click Next. The driver installation will begin.
- Click Finish.
- Click Close.
