• The following software must be updated when you install this package.
  • Access Connections version 5.33 or higher for Windows Vista/XP
  • Access Connections version 5.40 or higher for Windows 7
  • Hotkey driver for Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit, XP, 2000 version 2.22.0000 or higher
  • Power Management Driver version 1.55 or higher

   

Manual Install

This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.

[Downloading file]

1. Click once on the underlined file name. Once this is done, some pop-up windows will appear.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
3. In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button.
4. Choose the directory you would like to download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.

[Extracting files]

1. Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
2. Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
3. Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
5. In the Select Destination Location window, click Next. If you would like to select a different folder, click Browse.
6. In the Ready to Install window, click Install. The file will begin to extract all the necessary files to the folder specified in the step 5.

[Installing files ]

1. Make sure the checkbox next to Install ..... now is selected and click Finish.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the computer. Finally delete the file saved in the Downloading File Step 4.
   

Unattended Install

This is for system administrators' use only.

1. Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and extract the files.
2. In Step 1 of the Installing files section, uncheck the checkbox next to Install ..... now, and then click Finish to cancel installation.
3. At the command line, execute setup.exe without option. Example: [Path where the files were extracted]\setup
   

[Windows 7]

1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
2. Make sure View by Category is selected, and click Uninstall a program.
3. Select Organize, select Layout, then select Details Pane. The Details Pane will be shown at the bottom of screen.
4. Click Qualcomm Gobi Driver Package for Lenovo for the driver version. Click Qualcomm Gobi Images for Lenovo for the firmware version.
5. Check the product version in the Details Pane.

[Windows Vista]

1. Start Windows Vista.
2. Click Start, then click Control Panel
3. Click Programs and Features.
4. Click Qualcomm Gobi Driver Package for Lenovo for the driver version. Click Qualcomm Gobi Images for Lenovo for the firmware version.
5. Click Organize in the upper left corner of the window.
6. Click Layout, then click the Details Pane. The driver version will be displayed at the bottom of the details screen.

[Windows XP]

1. Start Windows XP.
2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
3. Click Add or Remove Programs
4. Click Qualcomm Gobi Driver Package for Lenovo for the driver version. Click Qualcomm Gobi Images for Lenovo for the firmware version.
5. Click Click here for support information. The driver version will be displayed.
