1. Start Windows Vista, XP or XP Tablet Edition 2005, and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Extract this package by double-clicking the downloaded file.
   The default extract location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AMTSOL
3. [Windows Vista]
   Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run....
   [Windows XP]
   Click Start, then click Run....
4. Specify LMS_SOL\SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
   Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AMTSOL\LMS_SOL\SETUP.EXE
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Click Finish to complete the installation and restart the system if necessary.
   

Windows Vista:

1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
3. Click System and Maintenance, then click System.
4. Click Device Manager.
5. Expand the Ports (COM & LPT) category.
6. Double-click Intel® Active Management Technology - SOL (COMx).
7. Click the Driver tab and the driver version will be displayed.

Windows XP:

1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
3. Click Performance and Maintenance, then click System.
4. Click the Hardware tab, and click Device Manager.
5. Expand the Ports (COM & LPT) category.
6. Double-click Intel® Active Management Technology - SOL (COMx).
7. Click the Driver tab and the driver version will be displayed.
   

1. Right-click the following file in Windows Explorer.
   c:\Program Files\Intel\AMT\LMS.exe (LMS)
2. Click Properties.

   Click the Details tab. The file version will be displayed.
   [Windows XP]
   Click the Version tab. The file version will be displayed.
