Note:
If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.

1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
   The default location is C:\DRIVERS\VISTA64\FPRA.

   Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run....
   [Windows XP Professional x64 Edition]
   Click Start, then click Run....
   
4. Specify SETUP64.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
   EXAMPLE: C:\DRIVERS\VISTA64\FPRA\SETUP64.EXE
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.

1. Click Start, then go to All Programs.
2. Go to ThinkVantage then select Lenovo Fingerprint Software.
3. Click About menu. Then you will see the driver version.
