ThinkPad BIOS Settings Windows - ThinkPad

This program is the Windows based of "BIOS Settings Capture/Playback Utility" (SRCMOS.EXE).
This package provides the following features:
- Copy BIOS setup data settings
- Copy BIOS secure data settings
- Install and update for power-on password
- Install for hard disk password

- R60, R60e, R61, R61e, R61i
- R400, R500
- T60, T60p, T61, T61p

Notes:
- Both the donor ThinkPad and a target ThinkPad must have the same BIOS Level.
- The BiosSettingsWindows version on both donor and target must be the same.
- Both donor and target must have a Supervisor Password to use this tool. This is for security reasons to prevent malicious software from setting an unknown Supervisor Password, locking all users out of the system.
- Using Passphrase setting (BIOS Setup Utility -> Security -> Password) must be the same on both donor and target ThinkPad.

- (New) Added support for ThinkPad T400s.
Version 1.05
- (New) Support for ThinkPad R400, R500, T400, T500, W500, W700, X200, X200s, X200 Tablet and X301.
Version 1.04
- (New) Support for ThinkPad X300.
Version 1.03
The program must be installed on both the donor ThinkPad and the target ThinkPad.
- Logon to Windows as an administrator account.
- Run the downloaded exe file.
- Specify directory you want to install this program.
- The installer just copies the files to the specified directory at step.
Note:
- You can use this program by copying the entire directory from the donor ThinkPad to the target ThinkPad.
- See ThinkPad Bios Settings Windows User's Guide (included in the package).
This is for system administrators' use only.
Specify Bios Settings Windows Installer.exe /S (capitalization required) with the full path name where you extracted the package.
The default directory is: C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\BiosSettingsWindows.
