Note: If the existing version of the Fingerprint Reader software is lower than 5.6, then it is required to upgrade the Fingerprint Reader Software to version 5.6.2 first before upgrading to 5.8.2. This software is not supported on 3000 Family desktops or 3000 Family notebooks with integrated fingerprint reader.

The fingerprint reader management console is an API that can be used to control fingerprint reader settings and behavior.
