Video driver IV for Windows NT 4.0 - ThinkPad 770
Applicable countries and regions
The Video driver for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 provides the following support:
- Improves the drawing performance on the display screen
- Provide a resolution up to 1600x1200 for a CRT monitor
- Provide various color depths: 256, 64K, and 16M for a CRT monitor

This release supports the following systems:
- ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED
- ThinkPad 770X*, 770Z*

* This driver cannot be installed on the 770X, 770Z without Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 or later. Please install the Service Pack first, then install this driver on the systems.

I. Summary of changes

II. Installation instructions
1. Start Windows NT 4.0 and l ogin with administrative privilege.
2. Extract the drivers onto the hard drive.
3. Click 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel '.
4. Double-click the " Display " icon in the window. The Display Settings dialog box appears.
5. Click the " Settings " tab.
6. Click the " Change Display Type... " button; the Display Type dialog box appears.
7. Click the " Change... " button in the Adapter Type field. The Select Device dialog box appears.
8. Click the " Have Disk... " button in the dialog box. The " Install From Disk " dialog box appears.
9. Specify the directory where the driver files are extracted.
Default path is C:\DRIVERS\WNT\DISPLAY .
Then click 'OK' button. Then device list appears.
10. Select the " Trident Video Accelerator 3D Cyber 9397 (Ver.4.4053.11) " choice from the Models field; then click the " OK " button.
11. Click the " Yes " button when the message "You are about to install a third-party driver" appears.
12. Click the " OK " button after the copy is done.
13. Click the " OK " button again.
14. Click the " Restart Now " button when Windows NT prompts you to restart.
15. Logon with administrative privilege. Windows NT prompts that the display setting has been changed.
16. Click the ' OK ' button. The Display Settings dialog box appears.
17. Select color palette and desktop size.
18. Click the " Test " button and check if the display is correctly.
19. Click the " Yes " button.
