Audio driver package I for Windows 98 - ThinkPad 1400

The Yamaha Audio Driver package enables or updates the YAMAHA Audio Driver program of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad i Series 1400*
*NOTE:
Only the following Model-Type numbers are supported:
2611 - 434, 435, (41x's except 412), (45x' s except 452 and 456)

Notes:

This driver will now automatically extract to your hard drive. It will only extract under Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, and Microsoft Windows NT. The extraction process will NOT work with any other operating system.

Installation instructions

Start Windows 98.
Extract the Audio Driver onto the hard disk drive.
Click Start and then click Run.
Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\AUDIO\DISK1\sauninst.exe in the Open box. Then click the OK button.
Click Next to continue with the uninstall program.
Click Yes for "Do you wish to remove the joystick device?". Then click Next .
Click Finish to complete the uninstallation.
Click OK to restart the system.
Click Start select Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Open the System icon and click the Device Manager tab.
Select YAMAHA OPL3-SAx Sound System under Sound, video and game controllers. Then click Remove.
Click OK on the Confirm Device Removal window.
Click Refresh.
Click OK on Insert Disk window.
Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\AUDIO\DISK1 in the Open box. Then click OK.
Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\AUDIO\DISK2 in the Open box. Then click OK.
Click Close to close the System Properties window to finish the installation.

National Language Support
Only some drivers will be available in other languages. If you do not see a listing like this for additional languages, then that driver is available in English only. The English driver will work in ALL countries. This driver is available in the following language format.
Note: If the version numbers below do not match the version number given above, then the updated driver listed above is available in ENGLISH only!
