Sleep Manager driver I for Windows 98/Me - ThinkPad 1400
|

The Sleep Manager Package enables or updates the Hibernation function program of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad i Series 1400
NOTES:
- Only the following Model-Type numbers are supported:
2611 - 434, 435, (41x''''s except 412), (45x''''s except 4 52 and 456)
- Your machine type is located on the bottom of your system, just above the bar code symbol.
NOTE: Drivers in different languages may not be the same version (check the following file descriptions). The English version will work in all countries, and can be substituted if the version for your language is not the same as the English version. |

I. Summary of changes
version 1.63
- (New) Support for ThinkPad i Series 1400.
- (New) Support for Windows Me(added).
II. Installation instructions for Windows 98
- Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, select Run.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\W98\SLEEP\SETUP.EXE in the dialog box and then click OK to continue.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
II. Installation instructions for Windows Me
- Turn on your computer, and then logon to Windows Me.
- Locate the downloaded Sleep Manager for Windows 98/Me package and double-click to extract the setup files to your hard disk drive.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- Type C:\default_subdirectory\SETUP.EXE in the Open box, where C:\default_subdirectory is the path to the files you extracted in the previous step.
- Press Enter key after providing the correct path.
- Click Next at the Welcome dialog box. The Sleep Manager will be installed to the C:\Program Files\Sleep Manager\ folder. For best results, accept the default folder for the files to be copied.
- Click Next to start copying files to your system.
- After all files have been copied, click OK. The installation has completed.
- Restart your computer in order for the new settings to take effect.
