II. Installation instructions

1. Turn on your computer, and then logon to Windows Me.
2. Locate the downloaded SafeOFF for Windows 98/Me package and doubleclick it to extract the setup files to your hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, and then click Run.
4. Type C:\default_subdirectory\SETUP.EXE in the Open box, where C:\default_subdirectory is the path to the files your extracted in the previous step.
5. Press the Enter key after providing the correct path.
6. Click Next at the Welcome dialog box. The SafeOFF for Windows 98/Me will be automatically installed to the C:\Program \Files\SafeOFF folder. For best results, accept the default folder for the files to be copied to.
7. Click Next to start coping files to your system.
8. Click OK at the message box. Restart the computer.

III. Uninstall instructions
If the previous version is installed, follow the instructions below to remove it:

1. Turn on the computer, and then logon to Windows Me.
2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs applet.
3. Select SafeOFF for Windows 98/Me, and click Add/Remove.
4. Click Yes to remove SafeOFF for Windows 98/Me.
5. Click OK.
6. Restart your computer and make the change effective.
