Notes:

• This driver will now automatically extract to your hard disk drive. It will only extract under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, and Windows 2000.
  
• If you can not install the driver in Windows 95, please install the Microsoft Y2K supplement, then reinstall again. You can find the Y2K supplement in Microsoft home page .
• If you get a message about nmgc5.cat file is missing, please skip this file. This file is for a logoed driver and is not necessary for the installation complete successfully.

1. Start Windows Me.
2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start , select Settings , then click Control Panel .
4. Double-click the Display icon.
5. Click the Settings tab.
6. Click the Advanced button.
7. Click the Adapter tab.
8. Click the Change button. The Update Device Driver Wizard dialog window appears.
9. Select Specify the location of the driver (Advanced) and click Next .
10. Select Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location , so you can select the driver you want and click Next .
11. Click Have Disk .
12. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY and click OK to bring up the video driver list. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
13. Click NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV for Windows 95/98/Me in the list, and then click Next .
14. Select NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV and click OK . If Update Driver Warning dialog box appears, then click Yes to continue the installation.
15. Click Next . Windows Me will start copying files. If you see a following message, click No . A file being copied is older than the file currently on your computer. It is recommended that your existing file.
16. After copying files are finished, click Finish .
17. Click Yes to restart the system.

1. Start Windows 98.
2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
4. Double-click the Display icon.
5. Click the Setting tab.
6. Click the Advanced button.
7. Click the Adapter tab.
8. Click the Change button. The Update Device Driver Wizard dialog window appears.
9. Click the Next button.
10. Select Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location , so you can select the driver you want.
11. Click the Next button.
12. Click the Have Disk button. The Install From Disk window will appear.
13. In the Copy manufacturer's files from: box, type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY and click the OK button to bring up the video driver list. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
14. Confirm NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV is selected in the Models: field and click OK . If Windows 98 displays Update Driver Warning message box, click Yes to continue to install.
15. Make sure the location is same one that you specified above, then click Next . Windows 98 copies all driver files to your system.
16. After driver files are copied, click Finish.
17. Click Close.
18. Select color depth and resolution.
19. Click Close in Display Properties dialog.
20. Windows 98 prompts you to restart the computer to make the display driver change effective.

1. Start Windows 95.
2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
4. Double-click the Display icon
5. Select the Settings tab.
6. Click the Change Display Type button.
7. Click the Change button under Adapter type field.
8. Click the Have Disk button.
9. In the Copy manufacturer's files from: box, type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY and click the OK button to bring up the video driver list. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
10. Confirm NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV is selected in the Models : field and click OK. Windows 95 copies all driver files to your system.
11. After driver files are copied, click Close .
12. Select your screen parameters from the Color palette, Desktop area, and Font size; then click OK.
13. Click Close ; then click Close again.
14. Follow the instructions on the screen.
15. Windows 95 prompts you to restart the computer to make the display driver change effective.
