Installation Guide

1. Start OS/2.
   
2. Insert the Audio Features Diskette for OS/2 into the diskette drive.
   
3. Open the OS/2 command prompt and type MINSTALL. Then press Enter.
   
4. Select A: for the source drive.
   
5. Select NeoMagic MagicWave 3DX Series Driver and click Install .
   
6. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. Using default value for setting is recommended.
   
7. Shutdown and restart the computer.
    
   NOTES:
   • Make sure you have selected Multimedia Software Support in the OS/2 Setup and Installation window when you installed OS/2.
   • Make sure you have not selected any audio hardware during the OS/2 installation; otherwise, OS/2 might detect your audio hardware as SoundBlaster Pro by mistake and install the device driver for SoundBlaster Pro into your hard disk drive.
   • If you had error messages during OS/2 boot, you need to uninstall multimedia software using the Selective Uninstall program.
   • When you reinstall the multimedia software supported by Selective Install program, make sure to remove SoundBlaster Pro from the Multimedia Device Support in the system configuration window.

National Language Support
Only some drivers will be available in other languages. If you do not see a listing like this for additional languages, then that driver is available in English only. The English driver will work in ALL countries. This driver is available in the following language format.
NOTE: If the version numbers below do not match the version number given above, then the updated driver listed above is available in English only.
