II. Installation instructions

1. Start Windows XP and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click the OK button.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Restart the system for the driver to be effective.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Start Windows XP.
2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
3. Click Performance and Maintenance.
4. Click the System icon.
5. Click the Hardware tab.
6. Click the Device Manager button.
7. Double-click Display Adapters.
8. Double-click Silicon Motion LynxEM+.
9. Click the Driver tab.
10. Click the Driver Details button.
11. Click smiminib.sys from the Driver files list. Check the File version.
