This package provides the display driver for Microsoft Windows XP users. This package enables or updates the display function of the following ThinkPad computers:

- ThinkPad i Series 1400/1500 type 2621/2651 all models

- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.

NOTE: This driver will automatically extract to your hard drive. It will only extract under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, and Windows 2000.

II. Installation instructions

  1. Start Windows XP and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
  3. Click Start then click Run
  4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to install the video driver. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  6. Restart the system for the driver to be effective.
III. Determining which version is installed
  1. Start Windows XP.
  2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Appearance and Themes.
  4. Click the Display icon.
  5. Click the Settings tab.
  6. Click the Advanced button.
  7. Click the Options tab, and then it will show the version number.
