NOTES:

• This driver can be silently installed by using the Crysetup Installer.
• Confirm that the driver is correctly installed, by determining the installed driver version as described below.

Installation instructions using the Crysetup Installer

1. Start Windows XP and log on with a user ID authorized as an administrator.
2. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, and then click Command Prompt.
3. Type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\AUDIO\CRYSETUP -S and then press the Enter key. If you extracted the driver to a different location, then specify that location instead. The installation will be completed without any notification in about 1 minute.
4. Type exit and press the Enter key to close the Command Prompt Window.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, click Manage, click Device Manager, then click Sound, video and game controllers.
2. Confirm the Crystal devices: Crystal WDM Audio Codec.
3. Right-click Crystal WDM Audio Codec and then click Properties.
4. Select the Driver tab, and then click Driver details.
5. Confirm that the last 4 digits of the Driver Version are 4143.
