This package provides the following utility programs for Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP users:
- Presentation Director
This package enables or updates the utility programs of the following ThinkPad computers:
Windows 98/Me/2000/XP support:
- ThinkPad R30, R31 (*1)
- ThinkPad s31 (*2)
- ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161-42U/62U/92U) (*1)
- ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171-5WU/5BU/7WU/6LU/9LU) (*1)
- ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161-43U) (*1)
- ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171-9MU/8MU/9NU/6MU/6NU/4MU/ 9XU/8XU/9ZU/5XU/5CU/5ZU/6XU) (*1)

Version 1.30a
- (New) Package structure has been re-organized.
- (Fix) Driver may cause an error on Windows 2000/XP.
Notes:
-
If you have installed the "Utility Wizard", uninstall it and reboot first before you install this package. Then you need to install the following package:
- ThinkPad Battery MaxiMiser and Power Management Features package
- Software Installer provides install/uninstall wizard for this package.
- Start Windows 98/Me/2000/XP. For Windows 2000/XP, logon with a User ID of Administrator.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\PDIRECT and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
- Start Windows 98/Me/2000/XP. For Windows 2000/XP, logon with a User ID of Administrator.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\PDIRECT -S -SMS and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Start Presentation Director Wizard and see the first page. You will see the version information on the screen.
