Before you begin

1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
3. Remove the main battery.
   
4. Remove the keyboard

Mini PCI installation movie

To remove the Mini PCI card:

1. Remove the metal shield.
2. Pull out each release latch, leaving the card in the slot.
3. Disconnect the modem cable and then the Ethernet cable if applicable.
   NOTE: Some models are modem only and do not have an Ethernet connector.
4. Remove the Mini PCI card from the slot.
